Description
The Scarce copper is a butterfly in the bluebird family.
It is widespread in many parts of the Nordic region, Central and Eastern Europe and east to Mongolia.
In Denmark, it is found in flower-rich forest information in large parts of the country,
though not on Funen’s often fly quietly, in an easier jumping way, but can fly strongly if it is scared.
The species is an avid flower visitor and, like the other firefighters, is not picky about the choice of nectar sources.
